Since September 2007, I've had several shows, none of which were successful, even if my name is out there. I purchased an air brush kit with my x-mas money back in January and created a really fun piece called 'Winter Warrior,' which has the same base style as my other clay masks, but has a more exotic feel since I used the airbrush to paint it. Currently, I have five pieces in a local shop, called Tree Leaf Oracle. I placed Winter Warrior, Pan, Spider Queen, Luna/Sol and Dancing Diva in some glass displays I painted. They were scored from a closed shop next door, so all it took was a little windex and some spray paint to make them look new again!
For now, I'm typing diligently away on my novel, which I may or may not ever publish, hunting for a job and trying not to go mad living with my parents. I may push for a 'real' art show late in the summer and into September, possibly October. I may also go back to school and see if I can get into the archeology program, because playing in graveyards is really fun!
